We all wish for a good life. Some people think all they have to do is to believe in religion. Others think it’s about the achievement of material wealth or social status. But I believe that a “good life” is one we can feel good about because of the way we’re living it. Shinjo Ito, Founder of the Shinnyo-en Order

The Year that was 2013-2014-S-L/YAC/YLOKCasady

Goal: Teens have a clear sense of their power to use what they have learned in their community and make a difference they can measure.
Objectives: Teens  identify a need, create and implement projects that meet the need. Teens set realistic goals, learn how to assess their impact, and become fluent in explaining the local need within the broader context of national and global issues. Teens are  responsible for connecting projects to their academic and personal experiences. In the spring, students formally present  projects at a public gathering of peers, teachers, family, and community partners.
